Id say Homer on this one as he has been taking a pounding far longer than Peter has been. he has seen it all and done it all, its true Peter can take a heavy beating too but he’s more stupid than Homer.

Well duh, Homer. I love the Simpsons AND Family guy about the same, SImpson for story and being America’s favorite Family, and Family Guy for being the funnies damn show on TV. But do you ever ask yourself, IS The Griffin Family plotting destruction. The DVD sales are sensational, and chracters like Stewie and Quagmire are selling millions on merchandise. Also, let’s think about the basic plot of Family Guy. A fat moron who spends a lot of time in a bar with his buddies, Simpsons copy. A wife who is really a magnet to other men and who CLEARLY made the wrong desicion with marriage (Lois more, because she was once Ms. Teen Rhode Island, was a lesbian, and IS a party girl at heart). A son who’s developed more than enough of his dad’s genes (more of Bart, because Chris is to stupid to be a bad influence). A nerdy daughter (more of Meg because SOME boys actually want to go out with her, even though Bart’s been kissed by 4 different girls). A misbehaved dog (more of Brian for the fact that he drinks martinis and has sex with dumb blonds whilst Santa’s Little Helper just digs holes in the yard). And a baby who’s smart nature is never paid attention to (Stewie beca¨se he can talk, he handles weapons even though Brian CAN hear him because he’s a dog, oh watch out for the upcoming episode where he kills Lois, or does he?).
So as you can see, FAMILY GUY RIPPED SIMPSONS OFF.
Homer would win because he’s not as fast as Peter and he has Bart to help him.

HOMER. I like Family Guy alot, but I think Seth McFarlen ripped off Matt Groening big time. The guy who made the long drawn out comparison here between all the characters of the two shows is right. I don’t need to say this because he already did. But I will anyways. Homer and Peter are in more ways than not the exact same character. They’re both fat, lazy, moronic, beer swilling losers who don’t give a heck enough about themselves to make any progress in life. The plus side is both come up with some hilarious schemes that almost always fail. The Peter vs. Giant Chicken fights are classic, no doubt about it. That shows how tough Peter is. But homer has proven himself on many, many occasions to be a viscious fighter. The occasion that comes to mind is the fight where he kicks the butt of that guy from Big Brother who Bart adopts as his new dad. They’re both tough guys, but Homer SImpson would Own Peter Griffin any day of the week. No question about it. anyone who says otherwise is an idiot.
