Warcraft - Wrath of the Lich King Cinematic Trailer
celebrityscraps |Anyone who knows anything about the gaming community knows that the masters of cinematic trailers are Blizzard Entertainment. Last week they released the upcoming World of Warcraft expansion’s cinematic trailer and yet again I’m blown away by it. These guys know how to make a good game trailer.

Things look to be on track for “Wrath of the Lich King” to be released by the end of Q4 - 2008……. guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
Drug Culture Evolution
celebrityscraps | August 30, 2008I’ve reached a point in my life and indeed in this blog where I’ve decided to raise the subject of drugs.
It’s weird that a large number of friends of mine used to scoff when they heard the saying… “smoking pot leads on to heavier drugs”… however I’ve noticed a pattern among a number of my friends occur over the last few years.
Anyone who knows me will know that I don’t touch illegal drugs, and I think that if any of my friends want to do it that’s their personal choice… but I can’t help think that a large number of them are disillusioning themselves and to what’s occurring.

To put it in perspective I’d say approx 50-65% of my friends dabble in “recreational drugs” when out clubbing.
To break it down even further:
1.) 5-7 years ago: Most were just smoking weed
2.) 4-5 years ago: Most were smoking weed and dabbling with Ecstasy every now and then
3.) 2 years ago: Most were no longer smoking weed regularly and taking Ecstasy/MDMA regularly on clubbing nights out
4.) 1 year ago=present: Most now use Ecstasy/MDMA and Cocaine on nights out
This shows an evolutionary trend where they are taking harder drugs. I’m sure that if they read this article they’d scoff at it too and think I’m bannanas, but to be fair I’m concerned.
It’s a proven fact that regular cocaine use damages, or even kills, the very brain cells that trigger the “high” users experience including damaging the key cells in the brain’s pleasure centre.
This has only been revealed recently as “long term” studies were unavailable due to the general lack of long term study of drugs.
I must be sounding like a right sourpuss now… so i’ll leave this post by saying this:
People should be allowed to make their own choices. But I think that taking a drug without in-depth knowledge of it’s effects is like playing russian roulette with your brain. - Peace

Best Webcam Breakup…EVER!
celebrityscraps | August 29, 2008Supernatural Season 4
celebrityscraps | August 26, 2008So I’ve been watching Supernatural since it hit our screens and have found it an odd mix of humor an horror that seems to outstrip most other examples of the pop-horror genre.
Anyone who has a brother will be able to relate to the brotherly duo and their constant jokes and digs at each other’s expense.
So anyway season 4 airs on the 18th of September which is not long to wait. Ofcourse if you’re cool like me you get to watch it 2 days earlier for being on the TV and Film review boards distro list :).
SEASON 3 & 4 SPOILERS AHEAD!
Ok… so the end of season 3 was not warm and fuzzy. The end left one of our two brothers banished to Hell as the end part of a deal to save his brother’s life. He’s strung up with meathooks and all!

Image from “www.supernatural.tv”
So from what I saw from the Comic-Con 5 min preview this season’s gonna deal with the ongoing demon war on mankind, Dean trying to piece together how he got out of Hell and deal with the emotional impact of having been poked by Lucifer’s trident for a few decades (time moves faster in hell apparently), and it’ll look at the naughty things Sam has done without his bro around to keep him in check.
Anyway… it looks damn good… I’ll post my initial impressions when I watch the first ep in a few weeks.
Prison Break Season 4!
celebrityscraps | August 20, 2008
I’ve been following Prison Break since it first aired and I have to say that they’ve managed to keep the spirit of it alive in a very unique way. All of season 1,2 and 3 is meant to have taken place over just a few months and so the direction of the fourth season looks to be a solid conclusion to the story.

Yes it’s a Prison Break double bill on the 1st Sept! I can’t wait!
Bigfoot Discovered (apparenty)…hmmm
celebrityscraps | August 19, 2008Three American men claim to have found a body of famed Bigfoot (also known as Sasquatch). They have even released a photograph to ‘prove’ it.

Apparently the mythical beasts body is 7ft 7in tall and weighs over 500lb!
It was found in the woods of northern Georgia (the US state, not the superpower-bothering country in the Caucasus).
The announcement was made by the CEO of searchingforbigfoot.com, who says he will be holding a press conference on Friday along with the discoverers, Matthew Whitton and Rick Dyer, where they will unveil further photos and DNA evidence.
The sasquatch body, from the photo already released, has reddish-brown hair, an ape-like face, and generally looks a bit like a slightly mildewed fancy-dress gorilla costume.
Noted Cryptozoologist (someone who studies legendary animals) Loren Coleman says on his website that ‘it certainly looks like the real deal.’
He adds ‘the gorilla-like facial features, the robust lack of canines, and the grinding surfaces shown in the teeth suggest a bulky vegetarian with a mixture of higher primate characteristics.’
The team behind the discovery say: ‘Extensive scientific studies will be done on the body by a team of scientists including a molecular biologist, an anthropologist, a paleontologist and other scientists over the next few months at an undisclosed location.’

Weddings, Hangovers and Exeter’s version of the ‘Bates Motel’
celebrityscraps | August 17, 2008This weekend I traveled down to Exeter to attend my pal from schools wedding. I hitched a lift with another friend of mine who was passing near my house on the way down. He’d already sorted out the accommodation and the transport so I literally just had to turn up and get hammered.
All was well and the journey was uneventful. Upon arriving at our accommodation we were presented with a B&B that from the exterior looked like the Bate’s Motel from the film Psycho!

This was a little disconcerting and the lack of the usual products (soap, toilet paper etc) made us think that maybe Norman Bates was pulling the strings. The hostess was friendly but stern… “Breakfast is served at 8:30…. SHARP” ….
Anyway so the wedding went off without a hitch and the reception was awesome… I drank way too much booze and we ended up getting a taxi back to the hotel with my brother in tow.
The next task we were faced with was how to sneak my brother into the hotel without forking over another £60 for a room. Utilising standard drunk guest tactics I managed to distract the zombie like host while my brother and co snuck up the stairs.
Having successfully outwitted ‘Grandfather Bates’ we begun to crack open some wine…..this is where things went downhill…. 20 mins later and we were confronted with a rather large self inflicted red win stain on the carpet!

Having heard the old wives tale I broke open the white wine and to or surprise white wine DOES get out red wine stains!!!
The next day (and still now) I was assaulted by what I can honestly describe as one of the worst hangovers I’ve had in a long time. Still…. no pain - no gain. The weekend was an awesome one and certainly one I won’t forget soon.
Jabba knew fashion in a galaxy far far far away…..!
celebrityscraps | August 14, 2008So I was originally gonna write this post on the fact that i’m having to replace all my trousers cos i’ve gone down a belt size and now everything I wear makes me look like an extra from Boyz ‘n’ the Hood, however i’m not gonna talk about that.
I was surfing for an appropriatly funny pic and came across this: http://www.leiasmetalbikini.com
It’s a fan based site for girls who love the “Princess Leia Metal Bikini” from Star Wars: Return of the Jedi.

That’s a lot of Leias!
Anyone interested in getting into a Leia bikina and drapeing themselves on me should know I do a great Jabba the Hutt impression.
